Pietro
Born and raised in the design capital of Milan, Pietro moved to Hong Kong in 2021. After years of experience in product design, he founded Militello Design Studio Limited in 2024 to focus on his growing passion for artisanal ceramics. As the Founder and Design Director, he brings a refined Italian eye for shapes and functionality to every piece in the collection.
Cosetto
Originally from Guangzhou, Cosetto spent much of his professional life as a filmmaker and photographer in the fast-paced world of advertising. Seeking a more tactile connection to craft, he relocated to Jingdezhen, the world-renowned "Porcelain Capital," to immerse himself in ancient ceramic techniques. Today, he is a specialist in Chinese porcelain, blending his background in visual aesthetics with deep technical mastery of ceramic craftsmanship.
Their professional partnership began in the kilns of Jingdezhen during the development of Pausa, a porcelain coffee set that marked their first successful collaboration. That foundational experience proved that the intersection of Italian design and Chinese ceramic heritage could yield truly exceptional objects, where structural honesty meets flawless execution, daily utility, and striking aesthetic beauty.
Following this initial success, they have continued to deepen their partnership, expanding their shared vision into a comprehensive line of premium, handcrafted ceramic products. These foundational pieces are just the beginning of a broader design ecosystem; the studio is continuously developing new concepts to enrich the entire collection, inviting design enthusiasts to follow the evolution of their handcrafted lineup.
